mar 12 ~ france ~ ronchamp chapel ~ part 7

3rd day... the last thing we saw in france.... but the best... well..... this and the tgv station are my 2 favorites... i still remember doing a wall section for manuel in 2nd year tech of this very same church...oh ya... this is le corbusier's ronchamp chapel/notre dame du haut/chapel of light (for all those non-archis):
the section i drew was one through the very wall you're starring at right now... through the windows... (brings back memories)

the interior is incredible....

i love this wall... this view....
and.. corbu designed every window.. and stainglass window
i love his use of color
especially in these light wells~
and on the walls~
