jan 13 ~ down by the river ~ part 2

for further studies of my drawing, i spent the second half of my saturday re-visiting the river... this time it was at sunset... i needed a second look at a different time to add another aspect to my drawings... below are a few interesting sites i visited:

taken from the only bridge that existed historically... the other bridges around town currently are added in modern times

the bridge in the foreground is new... the one with 3 arches in the distance is the old bridge...

interesting waterways/canals like this exist throughout the city...

haha... i thought this was an interesting setting for a restaurant... as you can see its a greek restaurant... i guess this is as close as i will get to santorini this time visitng europe... santorini will still be one of my dream destinations...
